The Sentry is launching in Murray Hill in May, and we’re on the hunt for charismatic, experienced, and enthusiastic bartenders with a passion for what they do. You’ll need to be well-versed in all things cocktails, immaculately presented, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction. Experience in both high-volume and upscale bars is a must.
Provide knowledgeable, efficient and friendly service at all times
Practice responsible service of alcohol
Quickly learn and consistently demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu offerings - both food and beverage - including ingredients, their source, descriptions of ingredients, and how it is prepared, available substitutions, etc.
Adhere to all Hole In The Wall service standards and protocols
Uphold Hole In The Wall standards of quality when creating beverages for guests
5 years experience in a high volume, upscale environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Works well as part of a team and individually
Strong knowledge of a wide range of alcoholic drinks and ingredients

The Sentry is looking for enthusiast and experienced serving staff to help launch our rooftop in late May. Being one of New York’s newest private clubs, we’re looking for staff who are able to take initiative and provide excellent service in a high volume environment with ease. You be responsible for ensuring that the guests are consistently met, and supporting the management team as needed.
Maintain all steps in the Customer Service program with each guests and fellow employees.
Performs opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and pack down of stations, clearing and re-setting up of tables, when necessary and checking tables before service is provided.
Be able to take orders, deliver food and clean up guests areas.
Ensure a guests order is correct and comes out of the kitchen or bar on time.
Work as a team with host and bartenders.
Performs all sequence of service duties in adherence to all company standards.
Respectfully entertain guests or members while following The Sentry Ethos.
Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment

Undertake regular internal inspections to ensure company’s assets are well maintained and protected takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of employees, hotel guests and property, and responds swiftly and effectively in any emergency of safety situations
Assure the proper handling of VIPs. Protect their privacy and confidentiality
Ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures at all levels
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
